Married in Miami was created with a simple belief: the significance of marriage should never be measured by the size, cost, or complexity of the wedding.

A wedding can be intimate and still feel extraordinary. It can happen quickly and still be meaningful. It can be affordable without feeling cheap. And it can be simple without losing the emotion, beauty, faith, and significance of the moment.

That belief is at the heart of Married in Miami.

We created an experience for couples who are ready to begin their lives together and want a beautiful, personal and uncomplicated way to make that commitment.

The Story Behind Married in Miami

Married in Miami was founded by Whilly Bermudez, an entrepreneur, creative professional, experienced event producer, and ordained Christian minister who has had the privilege of officiating weddings and being part of some of life’s most meaningful celebrations.

Through those experiences, Whilly began thinking differently about the traditional wedding model.

For many couples, the process of getting married had become increasingly complicated. Venues, vendors, planning, schedules, expenses and countless decisions could easily overshadow the very reason two people wanted to get married in the first place.

He saw an opportunity to create something simpler.

Not a courthouse experience.

Not an elaborate traditional wedding.

Something in between.

A place where couples could walk in knowing that the important details had already been considered, celebrate with the people closest to them, exchange their vows in the presence of the Lord in a beautiful chapel setting, and walk away married with a memory they will genuinely cherish.

That idea became Married in Miami.

Marriage is more than an event to us.

It is a commitment between two people and, for couples who share our Christian faith, a sacred covenant made before God.

That is why our approach is centered not only on convenience, but also on meaning.

We want couples to have the opportunity to slow down for that moment, look at one another, understand the commitment they are making and celebrate the love that brought them there.
